The Native Hawaiian Health Needs Study, 1985

This report, otherwise known as the E Ola Mau Study, provides a comprehensive review of the unique health care needs of Native Hawaiians and makes recommendations to improve Native Hawaiian health through health promotion, disease prevention, and health protection strategies. Organized into five task force reports, the study presents data and information in the following health areas: 1) Strategic Health Plan, 2) Historical/Cultural, 3) Medical, 4) Mental Health, and 5) Nutritional/Dental.
