General: There are very few questions on my dashboard. Why is this
happening? It’s possible that you may not be getting questions
because there are few available in your area of expertise at that
moment- it depends on how many students are asking and how many
experts we have online answering. If you are not seeing questions,
check again! Questions are asked by students 24/7. For the optimal
answering times, try between 11:30 PM- 8:30 AM IST (11:00 AM-8:00
PM PT).
Is there a limit to the number of questions I can answer in a day?
A week? A month? Nope! You can answer as many questions as you
want, as long as they follow our Q&A answering guidelines. We
look out for accurate, thoroughly explained answers that directly
address our asker’s questions.
Do I get feedback on my answers? Who evaluates my answers? Askers
have the ability to comment or rate your answers using “Thumbs Up”
or “Thumbs Down.” This is up to their discretion, but you can
always encourage them to provide feedback! At the same time, any
one of your answers can be evaluated by our in house team of
experts for accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to the Q&A
guidelines that you have received. Our system also checks expert
answers regularly, and we’ll make sure to give you feedback on each
individual question that is checked. Please use the feedback to
provide great answers to our students! This way, you will always be
giving the students your best efforts.
Am I allowed to work on the Q&A boards and solutions authoring
at the same time? If you have the qualifications to work on both,
then we are happy to have you! Our expectation is that you strike a
good balance between the two and do justice to your work on both
assignments. If you ever feel the strain of working in both areas,
please reach out to your management team- they can help you decide
the best place for your strengths.
Can I change my Q&A Board subject preference? This will depend
on your qualifications and areas of expertise, but we do allow it.
Please check with your management team to discuss the best course
of action for you.
Guidelines What is the maximum image size allowed to be uploaded in
answers? Our limit is 2 MB per image, with no height or width
restrictions.

Is there any word limit for answering text? Yes, there is a 65,000
character limit for each answer- but we don’t expect you to have
trouble with this!
If a diagram is too complex to draw, can I upload a hand-drawn
diagram? Absolutely. As long as the image is clear, good quality,
and completely legible, handdrawn diagrams are completely
acceptable.
Can I upload handwritten answers? I can answer more questions in
this way. Sure, these fall under the same requirements as
hand-drawn diagrams. As long as image quality is good and
handwriting is easy to read, we accept handwritten answers.
However, please note that it is crucial that image quality and
penmanship are of good quality. Our in house team checks for these
criteria when they evaluate answers, so you will be contacted if
your answers are considered unsatisfactory. If that is the case,
you will be asked to type out your full answers, and failure to
adhere to answering guidelines will result in disciplinary
action.
Do I need to answer all subparts of a question? Sometimes I get
questions with many subparts- can I skip those questions? Questions
that are posted on the boards all differ in length and complexity.
They often include subparts- like a, b, c, d, i, ii. In order to
make the best use of your valuable answering time, please follow
the following protocol for questions with many subparts: than 1
question: answer the first question Unless a student explicitly
mentions a question to answer- for instance, “answer the third
question”. In this case, the question requested should be the one
answered. More than 1 question, with subparts: answer the first 4
subparts Regardless of the number of questions, answer the first 4
subparts For instance: 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b Unless a student explicitly
mentions a different question to answer. In that case, answer the
requested question. Less than 3 subparts: answer all parts More
than 3 subparts: answer the first 4 subparts e.g. subparts a, b, c,
d *Of course, these are only minimum requirements. We are happy to
encourage any efforts that go beyond the bare minimum!
Technical difficulties Is there any specific system/technical
requirement for running and answering on the Chegg Q&A boards?
The Chegg Q&A board should work on all standard systems with
internet connectivity. For optimal results, the following system
requirements are recommended –
Browsers: Internet Explorer: Version 10 and above Google Chrome:
Version 42.0 and above Firefox: Version 30 and above.
Safari:Version 5.17
Operating System: Windows 7 or Mac
Add-ons: Latest version of Java & Adobe to use equations editor

should I do? After logging in, try using these links directly-

have the ability to answer questions, please reach out to your
