High School Longitudinal Study of 2009 (HSLS:09)

In the fall of 2009, NCES launched the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009, which follows a cohort of more than 25,000 9th graders in the base year through their high school, postsecondary, and early career experiences, focusing on college decision-making and on math learning based on a new algebra assessment. Data are collected from students, administrators, math and science teachers, school counselors, parents, and administrative records. Postsecondary transcript collections were part of the data collection. Reports related to postsecondary transcript data can be found at https://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/getpubcats.asp?sid=119.
